I am taking care of myself.

Your health is essential, so make sure that you are getting everything you need to stay healthy.

I am enough

I am loved

Who doesn’t like to hear this? Remind yourself that someone loves you, and even though it might not be anyone in your life right now, you are still loved.

I am organized

You might feel like things are chaotic and out of control right now, but you can organize your thoughts and feelings.

I am in control

If things are out of control right now, take a step back and breathe. You can make things better if you take the time to step away from what is causing your stress.

I am positive

How to make time for self-care

Plan in advance

If you know that things will get stressful, plan so you’ll know what self-care activities you can do when it starts getting tricky.

Break up your day

If you have a full schedule, try breaking it up into smaller chunks. For example, if you want to meditate for 15 minutes, set the alarm every few hours to remind yourself.

Take care of your well-being first.

If you have a busy schedule, it can be easy to put yourself last. When you take time for self-care, try putting your well being first so that you can complete the tasks you have ahead of you.

Make goals

Setting goals can help motivate yourself when things get rough. For example, if your goal is to meditate for 15 minutes, you can check it off your list and feel accomplished.

Key takeaway

It’s not always easy to find time with your busy schedule to practice self-care. Planning is an excellent way to ensure that you make time for yourself.

However, If you miss a day or a week, don’t feel bad. Life can get in the way sometimes. Just continue from where you stop and keep practising self-care and love as much as you can.
